On February 12th, 13 girls from Mr. Plyler, Ms. Warren, and Mrs, Tatom's classes attended The SWAEC Girl Power 2025. This event, held at Ledwell in Texarkana, was all about empowering female students in grades 9-12 to explore non-traditional career paths in CNC cutting and lasering technology. Please join us in congratulating Kassidy Beasley and Sophie Robb for their big win‼️ ⭐️Kassidy Beasley placed 1st in the metal category. She received a $100 check, a $500 scholarship to UAHT, and a pair of gloves that were lazer engraved. ⭐️Sophie Robb placed 2nd in the Laser engraver category receiving a $50 check. We would like to thank everyone who participated in this event. These two individuals will move on to compete at the state level on February 26th.
