The state of Arkansas has passed law (SB 142) "Bell to Bell No Cell Act". This will impact every school across the state of Arkansas including Spring Hill School District. As part of this law, students are not permitted to have cell phones or other personal electronic devices in their possession during the school day. This restriction extends from the time that students arrive on campus until they leave at the end of the day. For a smooth transition into the new 2025-2026 school year, we ask that you review this policy with your child to ensure they are prepared for this change in policy. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? ——————————————— STUDENTS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE IN POSSESSION OF THESE DEVICES IF THEY ARE: * powered off and stored away in a backpack * not accessed at any time during the school day (which includes breakfast and lunch CELL PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES INCLUDE: * cell phones * smart watches * earbuds/headphones * ipads/tablets * any personal device that has communication capabilities not issued from the school. IN POSSESSION INCLUDES: * holding the device * carrying it in pocket or on their person * checking the device while stored in a backpack at any time during the school day. Parents: If your child is caught breaking this policy consequences will be issued according to the handbook policy which can be found online on our school website. Standards of excellence will be achievable! We appreciate your support as we implement this statewide initiative. Together, we can help our students stay focused and uphold standards of excellence! #BearPride #smalltownBIGFAMILY💛💙

This past week, we had the honor of celebrating three outstanding educators who were named Spring Hill’s 2025 Blue Diamond Educators of the Year! 💙💛 The Blue Diamond Award represents rarity, value, and excellence—qualities that perfectly describe not only these three educators but so many others across the Spring Hill School District. The Blue Diamond Committee, made up of parents, former students, former educators, and community leaders, carefully reviews testing data, classroom impact, and dedication to student growth to select these exceptional recipients each year. A special thank-you to Hempstead County Farm Bureau for serving as the presenting sponsor of this year’s awards. Your continued support means so much to our district! We were proud to have Reed Camp, Agency Manager, on hand to present the awards. Please join us in congratulating our 2025 recipients: 🔷 Elementary Educator of the Year: Mrs. Crystal Anderson ~ Celebrating her 24th year in education 🔷 Jr. High Educator of the Year: Mrs. Joy Freel ~ Celebrating her 30th year in education 🔷 High School Educator of the Year: Mrs. Tiffany Moore ~ Celebrating her 19th year in education We are so proud of these incredible educators and grateful for the difference they make every day in the lives of our students. 💙 #BearPride #SmallTownBIGFAMILY #BlueDiamondEducator #ThankATeacher #SpringHillExcellence
