A message from Mr. Lewallen: Attached is the verification form and a Attached is the verification form and a couple of pics from the week My favorite part was getting a behind the scenes tour of the White House from a staff curator, learning about the artifacts within the building and the day-to-day workings of the White House. More specifically how the building is, in essence, its own little city with a staff that works for the house, not necessarily the president, many of these staff workers have been there for decades. It was their first hand stories that showed how the presidency and US History evolved and made our country through trials, tribulations, successes and failures.

The Spring Hill Volleyball team would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to SAU Volleyball for working with us today! We had a blast and learned a lot!!

Times for HS Schedule pick up: Tuesday July 30th - Thursday, August 1st from 9:00am - 2:00pm. All 7th-11th grade students or parents can pick up their schedules in the high school office. If you do not pick up schedules on these three days they will be available for pick up at open house Aug. 8th from 5pm - 7pm or the first day of school Aug 14th. Seniors will get their schedules at Sr. Breakfast Aug. 9th at 9:00am. Breakfast will be served to seniors and parents in the cafeteria and other Sr. information will be given out during that time as well. Schedules will be given out on days assigned. No schedules will be given out early! Chromebooks will be issued during open house in the high school library. Your student packet will contain information needed to pick up your chromebook. You will not be issued a chromebook without this information, please bring it with you.

Spring Hill School District is proud to announce that Spring Hill High School is a 2023-2024 National Beta School of Distinction. The school earned this recognition by increasing their club’s membership by at least 10% from last year. National Beta School of Distinction is an honor for Beta clubs striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership and service to others. With an ongoing quest to instill these qualities in more students, the National Beta School of Distinction Award is designed to reward those schools that show an increase in membership for the current school year. This year, only 22% of Beta Clubs across the country received this award. In a congratulatory letter to the school, Bobby Hart, CEO said “This national award speaks highly of your commitment to academic excellence and illustrates your dedication to preparing students for their future.”

The cafeteria will not be serving breakfast or lunch next week (July 1-5).

Hey everyone this is Coach Porter. I had a lot of ladies come up to me after Volleyball practice today and say they could not make it to try outs the days I have scheduled. I am going to add two extra days for the ones that will not be able to make the original dates. JV try outs will still be July 11th @ 8 AM SV try outs will still be July 12th @ 8 AM If you cannot make the original days which are July 11th and July 12th please let me know which add on day you are coming to. The add on days will be July 9th and July 13. The two add on days will be July 9th @ 3 PM and July 13th @ 8 AM These try outs will all be held at the Highschool gym and will be closed try outs. Only players in the gym during try outs, no parents or other students. Remember if you have not gotten a physical done from the school I will need one before you try out or I cannot guarantee you try out. If you have one done by the school please let me know so I can write your name down.

Volleyball practice this week is June 19-20 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the high school gym. Students can make it both days or one day. Message from: Paige Porter

Spring Hill School District is now accepting bids for Food/Non Food items, Bread, Milk, and Chemicals. The bid packets are available in the superintendent's office for pickup until June 17th. Please have them turned in by June 28th. Bids will be awarded on July 11th.
