A special Board Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 23rd at 3:30pm in the Administration Building.

Spring Hill School District administration is closely monitoring weather forecasts as our area is under a winter weather watch for Friday and throughout the weekend.

If an early release, closure, or delay becomes necessary, information will be shared on the district Facebook page, our school app and through our text alert system. Please be sure your child’s school has an up-to-date phone number that can receive text messages. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to monitor conditions.

We're collecting new or GENTLY used leggings/jeans/joggers for the high school and elementary.
We are in need of the following sizes:
Women's small - XL
Youth Boys 4 - 14 (xs-xl)
Youth Girls 4 - 14 (xs-xl)
If you have any new or clean, gently worn bottoms you no longer need, we'd be so grateful for your donation.

Basketball Schedule Update: due to possible inclement weather - The game @ Horatio has been moved to Thursday at 5:30. JG/SG/SB #GoBears

Attention Parents/Guardians: Friday night basketball games have been moved to Thursday with a start time of 5:30 pm. (JG, SB and SG)

Please help us congratulate Mrs Tatom’s Cybersecurity students for placing 3rd in the state in the CyberPatriot 18 State Round, held in December. This was their first time competing in this national competition, making the achievement even more impressive!

Way to go —hard work truly paid off! 👏💻🏆 So proud of these students! 🎉

2026 Daddy-Daughter Sweetheart Dance - Saturday, Feb 28 from 6pm-8pm @ Timeless Traditions!

The following students competed yesterday at the Hempstead County Spelling Bee. 4th Grade: Rory Shepard and Della Mullins 5th Grade: Drake Impson and Molly Plyler 6th Grade: Clark Garcia and  Braylin Cox 7th Grade: Kase Lemley and Hazen Coney 8th Grade: Avyn Broach and Hollynn Ennis Braylin Cox placed first in the 6th Grade Level

We want to take a moment to say thank you to our dedicated school board members, Jimmy Don Hill, Caleb Askew, Mary Harrison, Ron Price, and Danny Whatley. Your time, leadership, and commitment to our students, teachers, and community do not go unnoticed. The decisions you make and the countless hours you give help shape the future of our schools and the success of every child who walks through our doors. We are grateful for your service and appreciate all that you do, not only this month, but always.

From Nurse Tracey Moore: The cooler weather brings something we all dread... LICE! Please check your children daily! Encourage your child to avoid hugging, sharing brushes, sharing jackets, etc. We will be checking periodically throughout the year. Please do your part to help keep these pests away. Thank you!!

The school board meeting for Monday, January 12th has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
