THANK YOU so much for allowing your child to participate in mini cheer camp! We will have our practices in the high school gym starting TOMORROW October 22nd- Thursday, October 25th 3:20-5pm! Please send a snack and water with them. Please be at the high school gym by 5 to pick them up each day.
The mini cheerleaders will also cheer with the SHS cheerleaders at half time of Friday nights game. Their entry is paid by wearing their mini cheer shirt!

New BETA and NHS members dues are due Tuesday 11/12/24. BETA dues (new members ONLY) is $32, NHS is $25. These dues are for the National Associations of each, so the students can be recognized by them. Also these dues will be used to pay for graduation stoles (gold for beta, white for NHS).

Spring Hill Juniors will take the ACT tomorrow, October 15th at Bethany Baptist Church. Students should go to their first period class and wait to be called out to go to the church. If a student does not have a first period class on campus they will need to be at Bethany Baptist Church by 8:15 a.m. in the morning. Pencils and calculators will be provided, but students may bring their own calculators.
The test will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.! The test should be over by the senior high lunch.
The make-up test date is October 29th for any student unable to test on October 15th.

The annual Spring Hill BETA/NHS tapping ceremony will be Monday, 10/14/24, at 11 am in the high school gym. There will be a reception for current members as well as new members and their parents at Bethany Baptist Church immediately following. ⛳️BEARS GOLF UPDATE: Connor Foster was the medalist at the 2A State Golf Tournament held at Glenwood Country Club. Connor was the overall winner with a round of 67! Brady Rhodes finished in the top 10 and was awarded 2A All-State with a round of 82!
Connor will compete in the Arkansas Overall Golf Championship on October 17 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock.

4th and 6th grade GT students competed in the SWAEC Chess Tournament this week. Yesterday several of our 6th graders placed in the top 10 out of 57 students and today 4th Grader, Jorge Hernandez, went undefeated earning the first place trophy!

FCCLA is collecting items to be taken to Ashland, North Carolina. Items need to be turned in to your 4th period teacher by Friday Oct 11th. Here is a list of items that are needed. The 4th period class that collects the most items will get a pizza party.
