On April 24th, FFA members, Cooper Plyler, Christopher Hernandez, Austin Stone, Jaden Reese, Westin Barnett, Trent McGuire, Freya Dowell, and Kassidy Beasley, went to Hot Springs to attend the 96th Arkansas FFA Convention and EXPO. It lasted three days and in this time they attended many sessions where they listened to guest speakers sharing their messages and learned valuable lessons.

The 7th grade Strategic Reading class completed and have now displayed their “White Fang” projects in front of the HS library. Great job kids!!

Spring Hill Athletics - This Week!

The cheerleaders (junior high and senior high) are hosting Putting on the Hits. Tickets and snack packs will be pre sold until Friday, May 5. Contestant sign-up sheets are in the office.

Isabella Lewallen, who previously tried out and made the Ouachita Baptist University cheer squad, made it official and signed a Letter of Intent Wednesday April 19, 2023 to join the Tigers Cheer Squad surrounded by family, friends, and her fellow Spring Hill Bears cheer squad. We are super proud of you, Belle!!

We have a lot of events coming up for the seniors in the next couple of weeks. Here is a list of the events including dates and times as of today. Senior semester test: May 4th-1,3,5,7 period test May 5th-2,4,6 during the class period Seniors last day: May 5th, 2023 Chromebooks MUST be turned in before you leave Senior high sports banquet: Tuesday, May 9, 2023 6pm @ cafeteria (golf, football, baseball, softball, track, girls & boys basketball, fishing, trap team, & cheerleading) Senior awards ceremony-Wednesday, May 10, 2023 9:30 am @ Spring Hill gym, parents are welcome to attend Senior luncheon- Wednesday, May 10, 2023 11:00 @ Bethany Baptist Church, parents are welcome to attend FFA banquet- Thursday, May 11, 2023@ Spring Hill cafeteria Baccalaureate practice-Friday, May 12, 2023 8am @ Bethany Baptist Church Baccalaureate- Sunday, May 14, 2023(Be there by 1:15 dressed and ready to go) Graduation practice- Monday, May 15, 2023 8am Hempstead Hall Graduation- Monday, May 15, 2023 6pm @ Hempstead Hall, seniors must be dressed and ready at Hempstead Hall by 4:45pm

The softball games scheduled for today (Apr 19) and on Monday (Apr 24) have been canceled. District in Dierks will start on Apr 25.
