Spring Hill Juniors and Seniors had a great opportunity last week! They got to visit with Mr. Ryan from the Heavy Equipment Operating Academy. He shared valuable information about careers in the trades, including job opportunities, salary expectations, and the length of their training program.
The academy offers hands-on training to help students master the skills needed for a successful career in heavy equipment operation. A big thank you to Mr. Ryan for taking the time to speak with our students!

Yesterday, we hosted "Get Real, Here’s the Deal" — a hands-on budgeting activity provided through the Hempstead County Cooperative Extension Service!
Community volunteers partnered with our Spring Hill High School juniors and seniors to help them experience real-world financial decision-making. Students “shopped” at stations like childcare, transportation, housing, and assets, making choices based on their assigned family size and income.
Thank you to our amazing volunteers and staff for supporting this valuable learning experience! 🙌 Also, thank you to our wonderful cafeteria staff for providing homemade sausage biscuits to our volunteers!

The softball game today has been moved to tomorrow at 4:30 at Mt. Pine. This is varsity only.
