Inclement Weather Procedures

In the event of inclement weather, the Superintendent of the Spring Hill School District consults various sources, including the National Weather Service, local road departments, administrators, and other regional superintendents. Decisions regarding closings will be communicated by 6:00 AM. However, this timing may vary depending on the severity and timing of the weather event. The SHSD community will be informed about weather-related closures and cancellations through SMS text messages, emails to all families and staff, school app notifications, updates on the district's social media accounts, and announcements via media outlets (SWARK.today, HopePrescott.com). The guidelines below provide clarity on procedures based on the type of closure, so please take a moment to familiarize yourself with them to be prepared. The safety of your child is our top priority every day of the year, regardless of the weather conditions.
