Spring Hill Fishing Teams Head to Nationals

This summer, The Spring Hill Bass Fishing Team is sending 3 angler teams to represent our school and community in the SAF/TBF National and World Championship.  The Blake Townsend and Collin Morris team along with the team of Ryan Whatley and Alex Gilingham, qualified to compete in the SAF National and World Championship being held on Lake Hartwell in South Carolina. The junior team of Jett Durham and Reese Tarver qualified to fish in the TBF National and World Championship being held on the Mississippi River in Illinois. Townsend, Morris, and Whatley are headed to Anderson South Carolina to compete in their Championship on June 28th through July 3rd. Durham and Tarver will be headed to Illinois July 27th through the 30th. We are so proud of these young men for their hard work and dedication that they have given. Just qualifying for this tournament is a huge honor. We would like to give a huge shout-out to all of our sponsors for their donations to help these boys get to their tournaments. We would also like to thank Chuck Phillips for running the high school and junior high AYTT trail. The boys will be at Walmart this Saturday, May 29th, to accept any donations that the public would like to donate to help them with their trip expenses to South Carolina and to Illinois. Please join us in wishing these young men the best of luck as they represent their school and community this summer at the National and World Championship of high school and junior high bass fishing.
