Update From the Superintendent Regarding Covid Guidelines
Please read the following letter from Mr. Wilson for an update regarding Covid at our district. He has included a copy of the Governor’s Proclamation and the guidelines from the Arkansas Department of Health.

We are again experiencing a spike in Covid cases in our schools due to the pandemic. The state is experiencing a large increase in cases and it is affecting many school districts. Our numbers from last week till now include a total of 3 elementary and 4 high school students that tested positive for the coronavirus. We have had one faculty member test positive. We have a total of 6 employees that are quarantined. This has led to 46 high school students and 68 elementary students to be quarantined.

We will continue to hold face to face onsite learning as we work through this situation. I can assure you Tracey Moore, School Nurse and Point of Contact Person for the District for Coronavirus, is doing an outstanding job in keeping the spread down. She is follwing the State Health Department Guidelines and the laws established by the Proclamation signed by Governor Asa Hutchinson. I have attached a copy of the Proclamation and Health Guidelines. Please read them.

In closing, only we can slow the spread down but we must wear our masks, wash our hands, and social distance as much as possible.
